Frequently Asked questions

Digital health can be confusing, we get it. Let’s clear some things up.

What is LocalRX?

LocalRX is a cost-effective service providing GLP-1 prescriptions in a safe, discrete and convenient manner.

Each patient is reviewed by a LocalRX-affiliated physician in a timely matter and, if it appears to be safe and effective for you, find a prescription treatment for Ozempic®, Mounjaro®, Wegovy®, Zepbound®, compounded semaglutide or compounded tirzepatide!

Who is LocalRX for?

LocalRX is for any adult who wants to receive discrete treatment from the comfort of their home.

Is this a safe way to receive treatment?

Yes. Telehealth is safe and effective—as long as patients answer questions truthfully, accurately, and completely. A physician will provide a personalized treatment plan for you to follow.

How quickly will a physician review my information?

After you complete your intake form, upload your body image, selfie and state ID, and checkout, a certified physician will complete their initial review and potentially approve you within a few hours or almost instantly. At most it may take half a day! You won’t get charged until you are fully approved! You also have the option of doing a video visit with a physician, otherwise they will review the information without needing to speak with you!

Do I need a prescription to use LocalRX?

No! A physician on the Oak platform will write you a prescription for Ozempic®, Mounjaro®, Wegovy®, Zepbound®, compounded semaglutide or compounded tirzepatide if they deem it safe and appropriate after your online visit. These medications are not over the counter.

Is my information safe?

Our top priorities are the security and privacy of your information along with the well being of our customers. The LocalRX platform complies with all relevant privacy laws as well as strict security protocols to protect your information at all costs.

Do I communicate with an actual physician?

To initiate your prescription and program eligibility review, you provide us with basic information and complete a quick two-minute form for review by a LocalRX physician licensed in your state. If additional information is needed a physician will reach out to you. You may also follow up with your physician via chat located within the dashboard.

Does my pricing increase as my dosage does?
